Tera is really a Korean MMO, but don't let that fool you. Tera is not a hardcore grinding game like certain other Korean MMOs. Leveling is rather fast and can be similar to WoW along with other western MMOs. Tera also offers a team dedicated to "westernizing" the game to make Tera appeal to the western market. Not only translating the sport, but ensuring the game itself is enjoyable for that western market and sometimes it means making some changes. One confirmed difference so far is that our version will offer you PvE and PvP servers to ensure that players who want prefer to 't be thrown into PvP without buying wow gold consent can cure it while those who do love to be able to PvP anytime get their servers as well. The Korean version from what I last heard has only a PvP server and it's not really a true FFA PvP but rather includes a few second warning for the opposing player. The NA/EU version is likely to utilize a different system than that for their PvP server, however i haven't seen any specific details yet.
